Art is not a thing; it is a way. Funding for our art programs and services is provided through memberships, corporate sponsorship, fund-raising events, contributions, endowments, grants, and private donations. ARTCAMP is a week long celebration of art in the summer which includes over 150 classes and workshops that involve all things art! Classes are spread across our entire service area during the daytime and evening. Classes are custom made for children and adults alike.
Friday, July 31, 2015. Summer rain affect on our produce. The summer of 2015 - a different one for sure. Midwesterners will remember this summer as one with lots of rain. Here in Northwest Indiana we got 21 inches of rain in 16 days. Crops sitting in standing water. At a critical part in the growing season also! Farmers have taken losses for sure. Picking kale for CSAs after 4 inches of rain.
Friday, July 31, 2015. Congrats mom and dad! We survived and as we are preparing for State Fair we are already making a list of things do different next year. Things we need to buy, and other things we need to improve on.
